Looking around at some of the professional guys on sites like CGHub it has become more and more apparent that practice, consistent and calculated, will be the only way to success. While this sounds obvious to some the full depth and breadth of practice I think is easily misunderstood. It's more than just sitting down and banging out a few sketches each day but assessing weak points in your art and facing them head on with a clear plan of action. In my case there are some areas that need work in particular but for the vast majority drawing as a whole is in need of work and so I have come up with the following commitment; everyday I will post a

18 Features!

0 min read
This is from !sashaisme (https://www.deviantart.com/sashaisme)'s journal: "Be one of the first 18 people commenting on this journal entry, and I will add you to the Featured List! For each of the 18 first people answering this journal I will put his/her avatar and the three deviations I like most from his/her gallery on the list. If you answer, you'll have to do the same in your journal, putting me on the first place, completing the list with 17 other people. The idea of this is not to get a free feature, it is to spread art around for everyone. I will check that you have done this or not." I saw this in my friend's DA and it seemed like a really good idea, a nice way to

He will come for you first, and then for me because we love him the most...." I'm basically readying myself for a long couple weeks of drawing and sketching, I find myself glued to my computer screen researching techniques, poses, ideas, everything to add some kind of new dimension to my work. though i've gotten pretty good in recent years I am loo

Thanks so much for the watch c:
You and your sister there fall somewhere between Jedi Master and God in cosplay as far as i'm concerned. I don't know how you built your props and outfits so efficiently and cheaply ($20 for Serah's blade? I made up Lightnings last year (non-transform) but it took me about 30, 40 starting with no materials and the precision of yours puts mine to shame) but I will be studying your work closely - keep up the good work! I'm sure you're asked all the time to explain your technique, but i'm genuinely curious. If you ever have the time to answer some questions from someone sincere in wanting to learn, please let me know~
